First Snow Experience

This morning cold and wet white flakes started falling from the sky. I’m told it’s called snow. It looked so interesting but I still wasn’t wanting to go running outside first thing this morning. After breakfast, Mom put on her big, black boots and her coat then lead me outside on the back porch with Elvis and Penny.

I cautiously picked my way through the snow and ice.

Penny thought it was great and ran everywhere and even sat on the lounge chairs to view the lake and park. Elvis had a sweater but he still didn’t stay outside very long.

As the day continued, Mom took me outside a few more times. The snow on the ground became deeper as the day continued. Each time outside I enjoyed it more.

This evening the snow is melting. It was fun but I hope tomorrow is drier and warmer.
